About Us

Being women in the business world, we were tired of the same old networking groups. You go, stand around somewhat awkwardly, exchange cards, and odds are, you never talk to those people again. Not to mention ALL THE MEN and outdated engagement.. 

Then the thought occurred to us; hell, let’s start our own networking collective! A space centering women and non-binary folks, with a fresh outlook on what networking could be. Enter PDX Women’s Biz Collective—it’s not your mom’s networking group!

For one, we want to build a solid professional network that you can rely on. We see the value in putting the time and effort into each other and building lasting relationships. The hope is, within our collective, you'll have all the resources possible, at your fingertips. From a CPA to help your client do their taxes, to a photographer who can take your family portraits, and everything in between. AND, you'll be supporting women and non-binary businesses at the same time. 

Second, giving back to our community and underserved individuals is important to us, so adding a mutual aid element to our collective was crucial. Every other month we will be volunteering and donating to a specific non-profit from the Portland area. We collectively have the power to do a lot of good, so lets do it! 

And of course, lastly (and possibly most importantly), we want to turn these business relationships into lasting friendships! It is hard as an adult to forge new, deep friendships; so join us to meet all of the lovely, cool, creative, funny, smart, hardworking, kind individuals who are part of PDX Women's Biz Collective.
